Hartwall Original Long Drink
Building a complete in-store brand experience for the Finnish market
When the product is iconic, the whole retail space should feel like the brand. For Hartwall Original Long Drink, the goal was not simply to create one display. The campaign was built as a complete mix of POS solutions, bringing together different elementsthat could work in different retail environments while maintaining one recognisable andconsistent brand identity. Hartwall Original Long Drink has a particularly strong connection to Finland. The drink was created for the 1952 Helsinki Olympics and has continued to be produced according to the original recipe.
The result:
One campaign. Multiple solutions. One recognisable brand. The Hartwall Original Long Drink case is a great example of how a collection of well-designed POS products can work together as one powerful retail campaign. Rather than asking one display to do everything, the right elements can be combined for each location, creating visibility, structure and brand recognition wherever the campaign appears. From individual POS pieces to complete in-store environments, the right combination can turn retail space into a true brand destination.

The challenge
Every store is different. Some locations have space for a large floor installation, while others require a more compact solution around an existing freezer or pallet. The campaign had to adapt to the available space, product volumes and retailer requirements while keeping one recognisable brand identity across every format.
The solution
The campaign combines multiple display formats rather than relying on a single solution. Arches, pallet displays, pallet branding, floor graphics, product cut-outs, freezer surrounds and freestanding structures all work together to create a larger branded environment.
Large-scale branded elements separate the Hartwall Original Long Drink area from the surrounding shelves. Oversized product visuals, strong blue-and-white graphics and elevated branding create visibility from several directions and give shoppers a clear visual destination.
A pallet can simply be a pallet. With the right combination of graphics, structure and branding, it becomes part of the campaign. Wrapping and framing the product, adding floor communication and creating height with arches and oversized elements turns stock into part of the visual story.
What makes this campaign particularly interesting is the combination of different products working as one system:
